<section id="navPoint_156"><h5 id="v0-p-2878"><strong>30EE  Kinds of changes and proposed changes to telecommunications services or telecommunications systems</strong></h5><ul><li><span>(1)</span><p id="v0-p-2879">For the purposes of this Division, a change or proposed change to a telecommunications service or a telecommunications system includes (but is not limited to) the following:</p><ul><li><span>(a)</span><p id="v0-p-2880">the responsible entity concerned providing one or more new telecommunication services;</p></li><li><span>(b)</span><p id="v0-p-2881">the responsible entity concerned changing the location of notifiable equipment (including moving equipment outside Australia);</p></li><li><span>(c)</span><p id="v0-p-2882">the responsible entity concerned procuring notifiable equipment (including procuring equipment that is located outside Australia);</p></li><li><span>(d)</span><p id="v0-p-2883">the responsible entity concerned entering into outsourcing arrangements:</p><ul><li><span>(i)</span><p id="v0-p-2884">to have all or part of the telecommunication services provided for that entity; or</p></li><li><span>(ii)</span><p id="v0-p-2885">to have all or part of the provision of telecommunication services managed for that entity; or</p></li><li><span>(iii)</span><p id="v0-p-2886">to have all or some information to which section 276 of the <em>Telecommunications Act 1997 </em>applies in relation to that entity, managed for that entity;</p></li></ul></li><li><span>(e)</span><p id="v0-p-2887">the responsible entity concerned entering into arrangements to have all or some information to which section 276 of the <em>Telecommunications Act 1997 </em>applies in relation to that entity accessed by persons outside Australia;</p></li><li><span>(f)</span><p id="v0-p-2888">the responsible entity concerned entering into arrangements to have all or some information or documents to which subsection 187A(1) of the <em>Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Act 1979</em> applies in relation to that entity kept outside Australia.</p></li></ul></li><li><span>(2)</span><p id="v0-p-2889">This Division does not apply to changes or proposed changes to a telecommunications service or a telecommunications system that are changes, or proposed changes, determined in an instrument under subsection (3).</p></li><li><span>(3)</span><p id="v0-p-2890">The Secretary may, by legislative instrument, make a determination for the purposes of subsection (2).</p></li></ul></section>
